Ага, понял...Но все таки считаю неприличным отворачиваться, когда с тобой здороваются. Ну да ладно, может у Garry действительно прбл...
По теме- думаю вот эта инфа будет поинтересней:

Hello Everyone:

As it has been my custom for several years, I am going to give you my ARUBA update in the event anyone of you may wish to visit the island in the near future. This will certainly save you some time.

This is going to be easier then my previous reports, mostly because the playing conditions have gotten so bad on the island that I need to only talk about where the good games are and basically avoid the rest.

For those of you that have never gone to Aruba, the island currently has 11 casino's. Of the 11, 8 of the games are completly useless. The conditions are horendous.

But that being said, you have 2 excellent games and one that is decent.

Now, what I characterize as decent and significant are Penn levels. As far as im concerned, if penn is bad, why even discuss it. And Penn levels at the 8 casino's are running at rediculous numbers. 6 deck games where 2.5 are being removed and in many cases 3 decks. It was absurd.

So lets discuss what is good.

The Crystal Casino in town (near the airport and part of the renasance hotel) had all 6 deck games with only one deck being cut off. Penn levels are running close to 84%.
Which is as good as your will find anyplace in the world.

The only 2 negative parts to the game were the fact that the dealer hits soft 17 which as the Don always reminds me is a -0.22 disadvantage. But with 84% penn levels, I had no problem living with that.
Also, which is NOT a disadvantage, however many of you don't like it. The dealer does NOT take a 2nd card until everyone had made there decisions.

AS A SPECIAL NOTE, THE CRYSTAL IS THE ONLY 24 HOUR CASINO.
ALL OTHER CASINO'S CLOSE BETWEEN 3 AND 4 AM DEPENDING HOW BUSY THEY ARE. THEY WILL CLOSE EARLIER IF THEY ARE SLOW.

For myself, those who know me, I am ONLY a HIGH STAKES player. So this was a bit of a disadvantage for me. There were no $100.00 tables. The tables ran $10.00 to $25.00. With the Max bet at $300.00 at the $10 and $500.00 at the $25.00. I worked it by jumping to 2 hands of $500.00 each for my purposes. They also allowed spliting 4X DAS DOA. Overall the game was good.

The next GREAT game on the island (and my favorite) was at the Marriot Casino. The Penn levels were probably the best I had ever seen. 6 deck games where they were barely taking a deck out, and on many occasions 3/4 was NOT uncommon. (penn at almost 88%)

BY THE WAY, THE MARRIOTT ALSO SPORTS A $100.00 8 DECK GAME. NOW I WOULD USUALLY NOT MENTION THAT. HOWEVER, THEY ARE ONLY TAKING OUT ONE DECK. SO THE PENN IS 87.5% WHICH REQUIRES A MENTION.

Why I liked this game best was because they had a range of tables from $10 right up to $200.00 mininum bets. All max bets on every table were 10X the minimum.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY TABLE IN ARUBA IN ALL 11 CASINO'S ARE WITH MID SHOE ENTRY. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TABLE WHERE YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL THE SHOE IS OVER TO GET IN.

Wonging is quite easy.

Another couple of interesting notes about the Mariott. They also hit soft 17, however, unlike the Crystal the dealer does NOT take the 2nd card at the end. He has the peakaboo hole to check his card.

Also, if you remember my reports from previous years. The Mariott had purchased 8 MINDPLAY tables. Well I don't know why, but i'm happy to report all 8 are gone. Not a mind play table to be had.

I felt the Marriott was the best show in town. Every game in every casino was easy to back count. In 14 nights of playing I did not experience one micro second of HEAT.

I can tell you something you can be certain of. You CAN get away with many many things in ARUBA that you would never get away with in most of the places we all play in.

I still have not figured out if they don't get it, or simply don't care. But, you can really push the envelope on the island.

On several occasions at high plus counts I doubled on soft 19's and 20's with max bets on the table. Also, on several occasions in the past couple of weeks (naturally also at high plus counts) I split my 10's against 5's and 6's.

If I did that In AC, the phones would be ringing up as storm. I tell people all the time if you are going to split 10's or double as I did above, then make sure you are sitting near the door. Smile

Well, when I made these moves on the island, NOBODY BLINKED. So I continuted my arragance. Right up until my last day, nobody seemed to care.

The 3rd place that gets at least an honorable mention is the Hyatt Casino. Although the penn levels are NOT as good as the other 2 I mentioned, they are certainly bearable. Unfortunately they also hit soft 17. Another strange rule they had is that they do NOT allow anyone to double for less. You must double for the full amount. I myself have never seen that before. But, that being said the game is sound and the minimum there ranges from $25 to $500.00$100.00 to $1000.00.

There used to be good games at the Excellsior Casino (HOliday inn) which is the only place on the island with 2 and four deck games. But, the penn levels are so bad that it don't matter.
That is also the only casino on the island owned by an American. Also at the Excellsior as well as the Radison they have full poker rooms. And the excellsior has the only book on the island. You can bet anygame anyplace.

Another important thing I should mention is that EVERY casino on the island (including the good ones) has automatic machines where the dealer NEVER shuffles. After each deck is dealth, he puts it back in the machine.
Naturally, none of us would ever do that, but I thought I would mension it.

A special note to all of you. Aruba used to be one of the safest crime free islands in the carribian. Well, that is NOT THE CASE ANY LONGER. They currently have there hands full with crime. Many reports around the island of hotel rooms and safes being robbed and drugs have become an issue on the island.

I say this, because many of us travel with large amounts of cash because of the nature of what we do. So I just mention this to give you a higher level of conciousness.
Let me be the first to tell you the rapid growth is what brought this on.
Make sure you move around in cabs and be alert to people watching you cash out in casino's.

I guess that's about it. I will check in each day in the event anyone of you have questions.
